About Me

I have been amazed by photography since the first time I saw the b&w image magically appear in the devo in a high school photo class. My teacher, Bill Brazill started me off on a journey of self discovery that has taken me to many parts of the world.

I have been able to photograph Bedouins in the Sinai, Hippies in their buses, teachers, children, my family, Jerusalem, Quechuan Indians in Cuzco, Amsterdam, Budapest, as well as working as a visual arts teacher.

Using the camera to record my observations has been a wonderful way to learn about the complex web of human experiences, and a continual lesson in the stillness found in places that are hidden unless you are looking for them.

Photography has become a way to record the stories and moments of my journey. I hope you have enjoyed them!
